My response to "VEVO" and the song "Die Young" by living fast is of course to do the opposite. Live young and do not use up all of your resources in a hurry. Give your heart more time to beat. Eat less less often. Stretch time out by keeping track of it..."The Counting of the Omer" Leviticus 23:15 making every moment count by assigning it a definite importance in the present will accomplish more than rushing through life to an untimely end. The signposts along the way and the marking of them are what constitute longevity.
Both Canada and California with roughly the same population numbers, legalized euthanasia in 2016. In 2021, California killed 486 people, while Canadian doctors medically killed 10,064 patients.... 20 times the rate of California. In Canada 1 in 25 deaths is deliberately caused by physicians under MAID. A level that took the Netherlands decades to get to, Canada reached in 6 years.
Is 'morphic resonance' having its way with us, after the murder and genocide of aboriginal people by the government of Canada? The ghosts of these people still roam this land and will not rest until some kind of retribution or karmic atonement and justice is realized. Are the 'feds' now blindly obliging with their sadly distorted focus on the 'climate' and our carbon footprint? In fact it was the aboriginal peoples who knew something about the balance of nature and how to maintain it. We failed to integrate into the societies that had been living in balance with nature for thousands of years.
Canada cannot pride itself as a caring country when people are denied access to the very things that would make their lives more tolerable. Like "The Inconvenient Indian" (Thomas King's book) the goal of the government has now become to terminate "inconvenient lives." A solution to future spending problems is what is occurring as the more vulnerable are squeezed out of existence by convincing them they are redundant. Are we pro-life? Or pro-death?
