Everything is a Lie! Everything is Fake!
A startling revelation from Yours Truly
I was idly thumbing through magazines at the dentist’s office the other day, when I came across the issue above. Notice anything unusual in the photo?
Look closely at the reflection in the Apollo astronaut’s visor.
Let me help you out a bit.
Aha!
I couldn’t believe what I was seeing, either. Surely I can’t have been the first to spot this extraordinary outlier in a NASA pic, reproduced on the cover of a national magazine, of a black cat on the lunar surface! Or perhaps I am the first. Hidden in plain view, as they say.
(My skill set not only include the construction of fake images, but conversely, the swift deconstruction of fake creations by others.)
Most of my Substack readers know as well as I do who was likely behind this cinematic trickery involving the Apollo moon landings - now undeniably confirmed a half-century later by my detection of a prowling pussycat.
No, thank you.

Things are moving fast on this story. I’ve already sold out my line of t-shirts celebrating this discovery. Check back here later for availability.

I myself believe that we did land on the moon but I also understand why some choose to believe otherwise. A reflection of a cat won’t change my mind but it does make one ponder.
Schrödinger's cat is alive and well in a phoney prognostication! A layered, fake, fake! A riff on what has become of fabricated mediated reality. Email post modern art. February 1 posing as April 1. Amazing what can be done with Photoshop. Nice play.
