I discover a surprising wall fixture on a visit to a local community centre, and learn that menstrual product dispensers are earmarked for the mens’ change rooms in other community centers across the city. Apparently to deter human rights complaints by those who anticipate, but don’t find, such fixtures in such places.
This menses mission creep is already underway elsewhere in Canada.
(One small point: the neighbouring used syringe receptacle could certainly be useful to diabetes sufferers. However, given the provincial drug decriminalization that kicked in on Jan. 31, I’m not sure that’s the primary demographic in mind.)
